I am an experienced freelance editor who has proofread and revised
manuals, articles, grant proposals, technical writing, and several books
in the research fields of anthropology, archaeology, classics, computer
science, geography, history of medicine, journalism, management, nursing,
nutrition, public health, and sociology. I have experience editing in
Word, Word Perfect, and LaTeX. My education has been in the fields of
Latin (B.A.), Classical Archaeology (B.A., M.A.), and Biological
Anthropology (M.A.). My skills in editing actually come from years of
studying foreign languages and cultures. Learning about the origins of
rhetoric and the earliest poetry in Latin and Greek, not to mention
mastering the complex grammar of both ancient and modern languages, has
contributed enormously to my penchant for concise, grammatically sound
writing.

grants received, and publications, please see my curriculum vitae.
