Job Types

I have worked on jobs of all sizes, from résumés and letters to full-length books. I also have experience proofreading and revising journal articles, manuals, technical papers, and grant proposals (NSF and NIH R01/R21) in the research fields of anthropology, archaeology, classics, geography, nursing, nutrition, journalism, public health, history of medicine, law, and computer science. For authors whose first language is not English, I have worked with people from around the world to correct their texts and make the language more idiomatic. If you are looking for someone to transcribe interviews and other dictation, I am available for that as well.

Tools and Formats

I can work with documents in Word, Word Perfect, PowerPoint, and LaTeX. In Word, I use track changes so you can review and understand the changes I make. I can also work with vector and bitmap graphics in all common formats. For transcription, I prefer to work with mp3 files.

Processing Times

I will work with your schedule and can edit text up to 20 pages within 4 business days. For long projects, please contact me for an estimate of processing time. Urgent processing is available upon request.
